The body of an Azerbaijani student who went missing in Lake Albona in Italy has been recovered, the deceased’s close relative, Natavan Seyidzade.

She noted that the body was found two days ago.

"Currently, paperwork is being processed to bring the body to Baku. The body will probably be brought to Baku on June 22," she added.

Elnur Babayev, 29, a political science student of the University of Rome, drowned in Lake Albona in the city of Castel Gandolfo on June 2.

He was the only child in his family.
