Spanish midfielder Andres Iniesta has signed with Japanese club Vissel Kobe on Thursday.
Vissel Kobe announced the transfer of the now former Barcelona player on social media.
"Bienvenido [Welcome] Andres Iniesta. A magician is coming to Kobe," Vissel Kobe said on Twitter and Instagram.
A product of Barcelona's youth academy, Iniesta, 34, scored 57 goals and had 142 assists in 675 matches for Barca.
During his 16-year-spell at Barcelona, Iniesta won nine La Liga championships, four Champions League titles and three UEFA Super Cups, three FIFA Club World Cups, six Spanish Copa del Reys (King's Cup) and seven Spanish Super Cups.
Iniesta scored the only goal when Spain defeated the Netherlands in the 2010 World Cup final in South Africa.
