According to the results of monitoring carried out by experts of the National Monitoring Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the volume of dust in the air is predict to exceed the sanitary norm on April 18-19 as result of south-west wind bringing dust from the Arabian Peninsula.

Due to the expected dusty weather, the Monitoring Department is operating under an operative regime, monitoring the air every three hours.
