The events of the Holocaust Week in Azerbaijan STMEGI was told by Assistant Ambassador of Israel to Azerbaijan on public diplomacy issues Sahil Mustafayev.
According to her, a series of events dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Holocaust will be held in various places in Baku.
"The events will be held at the Baku Oxford School, in the Youth House in Binagadi district.
For example, at the ADA University an exhibition was opened which was visited by the Deputy Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan Avital Rosenberg, Vice-Rector of the University Farida Ismailzade, the representative of the UN Department of Public Information Rashad Huseynov.
The exhibition is dedicated to diplomats who during the Second World War helped save Jews subjected to harassment, "S. Mustafayeva said.
A representative of the embassy said that during the week the exhibitions will be held and the documentary film "Children of the Holocaust" will be screened.
The series of events will last until 27 January.
