Putin and Netanyahu have agreed on a new meeting

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the coming New Year.
The leaders of both countries wished the friend and the people of Russia and Israel all the best on the phone, however, according to the Kremlin press service, the interlocutors came to the opinion that it was time for another full-time conversation.
"During the telephone conversation, the Russian president and Israeli prime minister, in particular, agreed to hold a meeting in the near future to discuss issues of bilateral relations and exchange views on various international and regional issues," the message said.
Recall, the last time the Russian and Israeli leaders met in Sochi in August last year. Then, Netanyahu expressed deep concern to Putin over the strengthening of Iranian influence in Syria and Lebanon and made it clear that Israel does not intend to tolerate this.
