As reported by Vesty.co.il, Israeli Maor Ben-Harosh won the World Junior Sailing Championship in the RSX class. The tournament under the auspices of the ISAF was held in China.
It is noteworthy that Maor started for the first time after a serious injury, received two years ago in an accident. After multiple fractures, it was considered a miracle that he survived at all. There was no question of any return to the sport. However, Ben Harosh performed another miracle, and in the days of Hanukkah - he not only returned, but also won gold at the World Championships.
The second place in the same class of vessels was taken by Daniil Krutskikh from Russia, the third was the Italian Gaudo Gallinaro.
Third place in the same championship in the class of ships 420 won Ido Bilik and Noam Homree.
