In Israel, the minimum wage rose

On Friday, December 1, according to the coalition agreements, the minimum wage in Israel again increased. Now it is 5300 shekels a month.
The employees who receive it will see the changes only in January of next year, when they receive a salary for December.
With regard to hourly pay, now it will grow from 26.90 shekels per hour to 28.49 shekels per hour.
For adolescents under 16, the minimum wage is a little lower - NIS 21.4 (or NIS 3710 per month), for Nineteen NIS 23 (3975 per month), for 17-year-olds NIS 25.4 (4399 per month).
This is the fourth stage of raising the minimum wage since April 2015. The total cost of such a step is from 400 to 500 million shekels a year.
