At a meeting of the parliamentary faction of the party "Our Home Israel" its leader Avigdor Lieberman promised to block the law on the work of stores on Saturdays in the edition proposed by the Interior Ministry.
"We will do everything so that the law on the work of small shops on Saturdays does not pass in the version that was proposed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. We have all the necessary mechanisms for this. I do not want to open stores on Saturdays in Bnei Brak, but there is no reason to close them in Haifa, "the NDI leader said.
Lieberman stressed that it is necessary to give local governments the opportunity to regulate life in cities in accordance with the needs of the population.
Commenting on the resolution of the coalition crisis, Lieberman expressed the hope that such conflicts within the coalition will not be repeated, and the current government will be able to continue working until the end of its cadence - November 7, 2019.
