The head of Mordovia Vladimir Volkov associates the prospects of dairy farming with the establishment of cooperation with Israeli milk producers.
The experience of the Jewish state, where milk productivity of cows reaches 18 thousand kg of milk per year, is planned to be used at the largest dairy complex in Russia for 6500 cows, which is currently under construction in the Dubenky district.
Visiting the dairy complex last summer, Vladimir Volkov said that in November a delegation of farmers from Mordovia will travel to Israel. As the "MI" correspondent was informed in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Moldova, the trip of the delegation from Mordovia began on November 25 and will last until December 1. It includes members of the regional government, heads of agricultural enterprises and processing enterprises of agricultural products, higher educational institutions, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, and banking structures. They will exchange experience not only in the field of agriculture. The Republic of Mordovia is also interested in developing cooperation with Israel in such areas as healthcare, education, innovative technologies.
A meeting with representatives of Israeli companies interested in cooperation in the Republic of Mordovia will be held at the Russian Cultural Center in Tel Aviv.
