Two former ministers of Saudi Arabia visited the Great Synagogue in Paris, where they were received by the rabbi of the synagogue Moshe Sebbag and chief rabbi of France Chaim Korsia.
This is Khalid bin Mohammad al-Angari, the former Minister of Education of Saudi Arabia, who currently holds the post of Ambassador of Riyadh in Paris, and Dr. Mohammad Abdul-Karim Al-Issa, former Minister of Justice of Saudi Arabia and now Secretary-General of the World Arab League.
Both officials visited the synagogue for the first time in their lives.
Recall, despite the fact that Israel and Saudi Arabia formally have no diplomatic relations, but recently the head of the IDF's General Staff Gadi Eisenkot stated that Israel is ready to share intelligence about Iran with Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia. The head of the Israeli General Staff also noted that under the Iranian problem, Israel has complete mutual understanding with Riyadh, who was never an enemy of Israel.
