Poll: 60% of Arabs are proud to be citizens of Israel

73% of the Israeli Arabs said they felt they belonged to the State of Israel, and 60% were proud of (very, very) the fact that they were its citizens.
This is the result of a survey conducted by the New Wave Institute on the order of the newspaper Israel Israel.
46% call themselves "Israeli Arabs", 42% "Palestinian Arabs" and 3% consider themselves simply Israelis. Moreover, every third (37%) does not feel any pride from being a citizen of Israel.
Only 14% of respondents said they would like to live under the authority of the Palestinian Authority, and 82% do not have such a desire.
Most Arabs said that they have Jewish friends and they would send their children to Jewish schools.
Only a few recognized that there are incitements in the Arab sector against Jews, but most believe that there is incitement against Arabs in Jewish society.
Answering the question about the nature of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, 73% called it territorial, and only 19% were religious.
Unlike their counterparts in the PA, most of the respondents recognize the historical and religious connection of Jews with the Land of Israel.
On internal issues, they gave the following answers: the majority stated that neither the Supervisory Board of Israeli Arabs nor the Arab Knesset members represent them. 65% called themselves non-religious - a very high percentage for Muslim society.
The survey was conducted by phone in September. 426 Arabs were interviewed (the druses did not participate), who were not informed about who is the customer of the survey. The error is 4.7%. +
