The first snow fell in Israel

As reported by Vesty.co.il, on the night of November 22, the first snow fell on Mount Hermon. The snowfall continues and is currently at an altitude of about 1800 meters above sea level.
The height of the snow cover on the top of Hermon exceeded 1 centimeter. Near the fortified point of the IDF, snow fell in the area even more - up to 5 cm.
The air temperature in the Hermon area is close to zero. It is also noted that there is a strong piercing wind.

Over the past day, the greatest amount of precipitation was recorded in the north - in Rosh ha-Nikra (40 mm). Ashdod took the second place - 37 mm, and Tel Aviv third (35 mm).
