Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev has congratulated his Lebanese counterpart Michel Aoun on his country’s national holiday..

“On behalf of the Azerbaijani people and on my own, I sincerely congratulate you and the people of Lebanon on the occasion of Lebanon’s national holiday – Independence Day,” President Aliyev said in his congratulatory letter.

“On this remarkable day, I wish you robust health, success in your activities and the friendly people of Lebanon peace and progress,” said the Azerbaijani president.
