The Governor of Tovuz Mr. Tofiq Zeynalov welcomed us today to his region and gave Ambassador Stav and his deputy Mrs. Rosenberg a briefing about the diverse and multicultural demography.

He mentioned the main areas of the local economy which are agriculture, light industry and winery, while situated in a stratigic point on the Baku-Tiblisu-Kars railway. With the rich scenary and history, tourism will surely grow rapidly in the next few years.
