"Magic" forest, wrapped in cobweb, appeared in Jerusalem

Israeli scientists observe a rare natural phenomenon on the outskirts of Jerusalem. Millions of spiders wrapped a cobweb of trees on the bank of the brook Sorek.
Spiders multiplied by cleaning wastewater that enter the stream and serve as a source of nutrients. They are fed by mosquitoes, which in turn serve as food for spiders-tetragnatides.
Arachnid researcher Igor Armikach from the Hebrew University noted that this is an unusual phenomenon, rare in the Middle East. With a seasonal drop in temperature, this phenomenon will soon disappear.
