At nine o'clock in the evening of July 31, Women in Green will gather in Independence Park in Jerusalem to start their traditional march around the walls of the Old City from there.

Such marches "Women in Green" are held regularly, already 23 times, on day 9 of Av.

The march will end at the Lions' Gate of the Old City.

The leaders of Women in Green, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, told the Arutz-7 website that permission from the police to conduct this march in connection with the latest events on the Temple Mount was received just hours before it began.

In connection with the march, from 10 pm until the end of the march, streets Agron, Shlomo hah-melekh, Hativat Jeruschtalaim, Kikar TSHAL, Sultan Suleiman, Derekh Jericho and Ha-ofel will be closed for traffic.

The position of the "Women in the Green" movement is that "the eviction of the Arabs is the only solution leading to peace." The movement was founded in 1993.
