Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman and IDF Chief of Staff Gadi Eisencot arrived today on the Golan Heights.
Accompanied by the highest army ranks, they visited the Syrian border, where the 210th territorial division "ha-Bashan" was deployed.

Netanyahu took part in a briefing by the commander of the Northern District, Major-General Yoel Stryk and Brigadier General Yaniv Asor.
Summarizing the results of the visit, Netanyahu said: "The reality in our region is changing very quickly, the IGIL retreats, and the space that is being created is trying to fill Iran."
The Prime Minister explained that Iran, together with Hezbollah, is creating a "northern arc" in this area, using precision weapons.
"We are dealing with all new threats to the state of Israel. We are aware of the whole range of threats, "Netanyahu said.
