According to the bill, some police officers will undergo a periodic check on the lie detector.
The list of posts for which verification will be mandatory has not yet been approved.

While the wording is only the most general - the positions on which the official position can be used to inflict damage on society.

If the results of the audit are unsatisfactory, decisions will be made as to whether to confine oneself only to administrative penalties or to open a criminal investigation.
When approving the text of the bill, MP Beni Begin suggested removing the statement that the purpose of the bill is "to strengthen public confidence in the police" and to limit oneself to the business: "to guarantee the proper work of the police." He also stressed that it is important to ensure the non-disclosure of the results of the checks on the polygraph.
