Tonight, the Knesset approved, in preliminary reading, the bill of MP Orli Levi-Abuksis (formerly NDI, now - nonpartisan), on providing state psychological assistance to under-age victims of sexual crimes and violence.

In addition, as reported by the Knesset press service, another legislative proposal was approved by Levi-Abuksis - on the state rehabilitation training for the blind.

Both legislative proposals were supported by the coalition.

Levi-Abuksis thanked her colleagues for their support and stressed that this was a rare case of approval of bills submitted by a non-partisan deputy.
