Israel is one of the world leaders in terms of the level of development of the digital economy

"Russia has been included in the rating of" promising "countries, which, despite the relatively low overall level of digitalization, are at the peak of digital development and demonstrate stable growth rates that attract investors, and they have the potential to enable them to take the leading positions" , - the study says. This group also includes China, Kenya, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile and Mexico.
South Africa, Peru, Egypt, Greece and Pakistan were recognized as problematic.
The results of the research show the competitiveness and potential of the development of the digital economy in 60 countries. Rating Digital Evolution Index 2017 assesses each country for 170 unique parameters.
