Ministers approved the law "On a single Jerusalem"

The bill was unanimously supported by the Likud ministers and the Jewish House (ED).
The army radio station recalls that about two weeks ago, Prime Minister Netanyahu used the veto power he had in the ministerial commission on legislation and blocked the bill.
This step led to tension between the head of government and the chairman of the Jewish House, as the leader of the United Nations, Minister of Education Naftali Bennett, promoted the law.
Discussing this document Likud and the Jewish House in the last two weeks, a compromise was made, but the main requirement of the ED was retained.
According to the text of the new document, any legislative proposal to divide Jerusalem should receive a "qualified majority", that is, no less than 80 members of the Knesset must vote for it.
