Passengers were cleared from Charles de Gaulle airport's Terminal 2F as security officers swooped.

Witnesses complained about a lack of information as they were pulled out of the departure lounges.

Authorities eventually took to Twitter and said the evacuation was taken place to comply with “security rules”.
