The first ambassadors of Senegal and Guinea to arrive in Israel

Senegal's Ambassador Talla Fall and Amin Kamar's ambassador to Guinea will present their credentials to Israeli President Reuven Rivlin on Tuesday. The ceremony will be held in Jerusalem.
Fall and Camara will be the first in the history of the ambassadors of their countries in Israel.
In June, Israel and Senegal agreed to revive, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent an Israeli ambassador to this African country.
Senegal is a country with a Muslim majority and turned out to be one of the four members of the Security Council, along with New Zealand, Malaysia and Venezuela, re-sent an anti-Israel resolution to the Security Council last December after it was withdrawn by Egypt.
Ultimately, the resolution was adopted when the United States, under former President Barack Obama, decided not to veto, as the US did with previous anti-Israel resolutions.
After the resolution was adopted, Israel withdrew its ambassadors from Senegal and New Zealand for consultations, and then lowered its ties with these countries.
In June 2016, half a century after the Six Day War, Israel and Guinea resumed diplomatic ties.
It remains to add that in this country the country of Cape Verde announced that it will no longer vote against Israel at the United Nations
